The current development of industrial technology requires production machines with high levels of accuracy and precision. Machine tools such as lathes and milling machines are now equipped with Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) programming control systems. This design aims to create and construct a 3-Axis CNC Router 7080 machine with the main objectives of (1) producing effective working drawings, (2) obtaining the product and specifications of the CNC Router 7080 machine, and (3) acquiring machining results from the created 3-Axis CNC Router machine. The project development involves various stages, including needs analysis, designing the machine and CNC Router 7080 3-Axis system, component manufacturing or manufacturing processes, and machine testing. The CNC Router 7080 3-Axis is designed using cost-effective components such as Aluminum Profiles and a gantry made of aluminium composite panel. The system also utilizes main control equipment, such as the Mach3 breakout board and a computer to monitor axis movement data. Testing results indicate that the CNC Router 7080 3-Axis components function normally with a low percentage of measurement error, specifically 0.3% for testing Figure 1 (Circle) and 0.5% for testing Figure 2 (Polygon). With an error rate below 1%, the machine is considered suitable as a production tool or learning media in Vocational Education or Vocational Colleges. © 2025 Author(s).
