Abstract

In a learning process, especially in carrying out exams, teachers need to prepare questions that are valid and appropriate to use as evaluation. This aim of this study is to develop and determine the feasibility of an integrated assessment instrument to measure chemistry literacy of senior high school students on reaction rate material. This study is R&D model using 4D model based on Thiagarajan, which consists of four stages: define, design, develop and disseminate. The method of this study using qualitative and quantitative methods. The Aiken index of content validity assessment was 0.82 with a high category. The construct validity assessment using unidimensional test had an eigenvalue of the initial component of 3.526 which was bigger than the other components. The results of content validity in the construct aspect was 0.75, the language aspect was 0.70, the validity aspect was 0.71, and the substance aspect was 0.73. From the outcome of this research, an evaluation instrument on essay questions of students' chemistry literacy skill was valid and feasible to use. © 2025 Author(s).
