Abstract

This research was aimed to know biomechanics during kicking ball, count the initial speed during kicking ball, know the effect of corner towards ball distance and know the effect of mass towards ball distance. This research was made an aid tool in learning IPA (Physics). This was experimental research. The tools and materials used include gauge, arch, wood, bolt, stopwatch, paint, writing tools, screw driver, key. First stage of taking a data was stringing up "Parabolic Miraculous Legs", than the second stage is preparing bolt to measure corner on legs of 130°, thirdly putting table tennis in the place that had been determined before, forthly loose legs from the determined corner, fifthly observing ball corner magnitude (α), measuring distance yielded and counting travelling time, sixthy recording results obtained, seventhly repeating three times to obtain a more valid data, lastly repeating step one to step seven for corners 90°, 45°, 30°, and for tennis ball, bekel ball. The research results obtained kicking ball movement was classified into biomechanics because there happen ball movement caused by legs movement include thigh muscle, knee, calf bone and knee bone. Corner variation affected ball distance, the bigger corner the farther ball distance. Ball mass affected ball distance, the more ball mass the nearer ball distance. © 2018 Author(s).
