This research explores the intersection of cosmetology, aromatherapy, and psychological well-being, with a focus on the impact of chemical ingredients and essential oils on both physical and mental health. Through a systematic literature review, the study examines how ingredients like hyaluronic acid, salicylic acid, and essential oils (such as lavender and peppermint) contribute to skin health while also influencing psychological states. Cosmetic products, including eye makeup and fragrances, have been found to enhance emotional well-being and foster social confidence, influencing personal aesthetics and social interactions. Additionally, essential oils reduce stress and promote psychological resilience, while luxury cosmetics evoke strong emotional responses, further enhancing consumer satisfaction. The findings underscore the powerful emotional and psychological connections between cosmetics and mental health, highlighting cosmetology's role in promoting overall well-being by supporting both appearance and emotional wellness. © 2025 Author(s).
