This research aims to know the awareness and readiness of construction service provider or the contractor of Purworejo Regency in facing the application of Asean Economic Community (MEA). This research was a quantitative research and data collection technique used questionnaires distributed to construction service provider companies resided in Purworejo Regency. The questionnaires were the tool or instrument used to dig the information about the awareness and readiness of construction service provider companies in Purworejo Regency. The technique of data analysis in this research was descriptive statistics data analysis. The samples were 47 companies (small, medium, and big qualification). Instrument validation was empirical with utilized validation way out of 6 awareness items, 5 of them were significant <0.05 and out of 50 utilized readiness, 39 items were significant <0.05. The overall instrument validity witn N of item 56, αstrat = 0.9241 was categorized into very high. The measurement result of construction service provider awareness in facing MEA is 70.2% and the readiness of facing MEA is 51.1%. © 2020 SERSC.
