This research aims to develop comics as physics learning media based Dol musical instruments. Dol is a local music instrumen from Bengkulu. The researcher used R & D development proposed by the Borg & Gall's development model. Research began with preliminary research, research design, developing initial products, limited trials, limited revised trials, initial field trials, revisions to the initial field trials. The comic physics media contains sound wave lesson, learning videos, examples, and practice exercises and can be operated using a smartphone. Products are categorized as suitable for use in the process of learning physics based on assessment in good categories. © 2020 Author(s).
