Education 4.0 is a phenomenon that arises due to the response to the needs of the industrial revolution 4.0. Education 4.0 has a great goal on the progress of learning and developing abilities for students specifically in terms of creativity, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Circle time is one of the innovations made by teachers in developing learning systems to support the achievement of educational goals in the 4.0 eras. The purpose of this study are to see and measure the improvement of the use circle time method in developing student learning and ability. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The study was conducted at Ngumplik Ngaglik State Elementary School Sleman Yogyakarta. The results of using circle time in learning are; (1) an increase in the percentage of students who can think critically and be able to make a problem solving, (2) an increase in the percentage of students who can think creatively and innovate, (3) increase in the number of students who can communicate well during learning, (4) increasing percentage of students who want to collaborate and cooperate during learning activities. This achievement is in line with efforts to achieve educational goals in the 4.0 eras. © 2020 ACM.
