Collaborative, active learning can enhance students' comprehension of learning materials. Padlet usage during online learning can be a medium in which students collaboratively discuss in class. This study aims to observe students' acceptance to Padlet usage as a medium for discussion in class. Respondents are students of 6th semester PGSD undergraduate program at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. The questionnaire consisted of 5 parameters measured using the Likert scale and 1 open-ended question that was analyzed using thematic analysis. This study found that Padlet is well-accepted by students. Padlet's mind map templates and colorful appearance attracted students to use it. Internet signal and inconvenience of accessing using smart phone, as well as teachers' lack of pedagogical capacity in using Padlet optimally are major challenges in the acceptance of Padlet by students. Further study is needed with more and wider participants, longer study duration, additional variables, such as teachers' pedagogical capacity and resource identification students have for online learning. © 2022 IEEE.
