The purpose of this article is to investigate the performance of special needs students with visual and hearing impairments when participating in online learning via LMS and identify the supporting factors and capacities that can be used to improve the quality of their learning. Questionnaires were distributed to students with visual and hearing impairments to collect data. Respondents in this study were Indonesian students with disabilities who had visual and hearing impairments. Descriptive analysis was performed on the primary data collected. Furthermore, secondary data is used to complement descriptive analysis results to draw conclusions. The findings indicate that adequate assistive technology, student support systems, and lecturers' knowledge of appropriate learning formats all play a significant role in improving the learning performance of students with disabilities. © 2021 IEEE.
