Concept understanding is the ability that a person applying knowledge and ideas in everyday life and the ability to make someone explain a complex concept into a simple explanation. To develop one's concept understanding, one of them can be through the use of flipbook e-modules. The material implemented in this research is food transfer and conversion for undergraduate students. The type of research is descriptive analysis with the sampling technique used is random sampling and the number of samples is 9 science education students from Trunonjoyo Madura University, Malang State University, and Yogyakarta State University. The results showed that the understanding the concept for the aspect of the ability to restate the concepts that have been learned get the percentage of achievement 61.39%, the aspect of the ability to give examples of the concepts that have been studied 59.26%, and the aspect of the ability to relate various concepts that have been learned get the percentage of achievement. by 64.81%. These three aspects fall into the good category. Students study flipbook-based e-modules on energy transfer and conversion materials in their spare time such as Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays, and the average duration of time each day in studying modules is 1-2 hours. © 2022 American Institute of Physics Inc..
