Abstract

This research is the creation of science comics learning media for junior high school students and the general public can learn the material of the respiratory system in humans and as entertainment. The purpose of this study 1) to determine the feasibility of comics media and 2) to find out the responses of students regarding comics learning with the respiratory system material as an independent learning medium. The research conducted is a type of research and development or Research and Development (R&D) using the four-D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The validity test of the product is carried out by material experts and media experts. This product was assessed by 6 teachers and the responses of 30 science students at SMP N 2 Tempel and SMP N 1 Minggir. Data were collected through a questionnaire and processed using a Likert scale conversion.
