Abstract

The impact of the industrial revolution 4.0 era in the world of education is that it is proven that there are more and more technology-based learning media that make it easier for teachers to convey material, not even face-to-face. The rapid development of science and technology is what makes students as the next generation need to have new literacy skills. This is due to the contextual integration of science and science materials that can provide meaningful learning. This study aims to find out what learning media are used to improve New Literacy skills in science learning activities. This research uses the content analysis method. From the results of this study, it was found that technology-based learning media can help improve the three aspects of new literacy. The technology-based learning media used is augmented reality to improve technology literacy, to improve data literacy, you can use the software in the form of GIS applications, while improving human literacy skills, using global issues that exist in social media. This technology-based media has succeeded in increasing new literacy abilities because it is efficient in providing various types of media, visual, audio, and audio-visual. © 2022 American Institute of Physics Inc..
