The aims of this research are: 1) To produce development product of science student worksheets based on Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) that is feasible to improve student’s critical thinking skills in junior high school science learning. 2) Knowing the effectiveness of science student worksheets based on Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) to improve the critical thinking skills of junior high school students. This research is an R&D research with a 4D model. The define stage is to analyze the needs of the science student worksheets that will be developed along with their specifications. The design stage is to develop science student worksheets based on Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) design. The develop stage is to develop science student worksheets based on Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) which is validated by expert lecturers and tested limited to 32 students of class VII B SMPN 4 Sleman. The disseminate stage is to give science student worksheets based on Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) to science teachers at SMPN 4 Sleman. The results of this study is, 1) Science student worksheets based on Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) is declared feasible by expert lecturers to improve student’s critical thinking skills in junior high school science learning with a very feasible category. 2) Science student worksheets based on Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) effectively improves critical thinking skills of junior high school students significantly. © 2022 American Institute of Physics Inc..
