Abstract

This research aimed to evaluate the conformity between the realization of Curriculum 2013 implementation and design. The evaluation model used was the Discrepancy Evaluation Model (DEM) with research samples from vocational high schools in Palangkaraya, Indonesia. Documentation studies and interviews were used for the data collection. The results showed the conformity of Document I of the School-Based Curriculum [Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP)] with the Curriculum 2013 design, as the implementation classification was determined to be in the good category with an average score of 3.66. However, there was a discrepancy of 7 percent against the specified standards. Discrepancies could be found in the document development component, with a discrepancy of 19 percent. This discrepancy was because the document development stages were not implemented, and the curriculum content component showed a discrepancy of 15 percent. © Common Ground Research Networks, Sri Murwantini, Soenarto, Thomas Sukardi, All Rights Reserved.
