Abstract

In this digital era, the rapid development of information and communication technology plays roles in the learning innovations. Blended learning is defined as learning that combines non-virtual (face-toface) and virtual learning (remote learning). The integration of technology in blended learning makes the learning process more flexible, interesting, and innovative. Blended learning has been widely applied in the educational context. Hence, this study aimed to identify the effectiveness of blended learning in educational context by using scoping review method. The selection processes for the relevant articles were based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. A total of 15 articles were selected from the last 10 years using quasi-experimental and mixed-method. The results of the study reveal that the implementation of blended learning plays role in improving students' motivation, learning outcomes, understanding on the concepts, self-efficacy, and problem-solving skills. © 2022 Association for Computing Machinery.
