This paper aims to obtain information about the needs of teachers to develop and develop problem-based learning modules. The material produced was electrolyte and non-electrolyte material at the high school (SMA) level during the Covid-19 pandemic in Tulungagung Regency, East Java. The pandemic has changed the existing structures and systems in society, including the learning system. Learning during a pandemic is different from the learning system during a pandemic. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with the primary objective of analyzing the needs of Chemistry teachers to develop learning modules during the Covid-19 pandemic. The object of this research is high school chemistry teachers in Tulungagung Regency. The sample of this research is high school chemistry teachers in Tulungagung Regency, totaling 17 teachers. Data collection was carried out by distributing open-ended question questionnaires that explored the application and teacher's understanding of the development of the chemistry module. The results showed that 82% of teachers used modules as learning media before the pandemic, and 94% used modules of electrolyte and non-electrolyte materials during the pandemic. Indicated an increase in learning modules during the Covid-19 pandemic by Chemistry teachers in Tulungagung Regency, East Java Province. © 2022 Author(s).
