Digital learning module of passenger car's head and position lights lighting system

Abstract

This study aims to develop and identify the feasibility of an electronic-based learning module for the passenger car's lighting system, especially head and position lamps. It used the ADDIE research and development model consisting of (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. The subjects of this research were automotive students at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. The data was obtained through observation and questionnaires. In addition, quantitative descriptive analysis was used to analyze the data. The product of this research is a digital learning module with a small file size (19 MB), EXE format, and operated using Personal Computer (PC or laptop). The module provides several menu options, including learning outcomes, topics, series, quizzes, user manuals, and developer profiles. The assessment by a material expert on the module's content was categorized as very feasible (108). In comparison, the media experts scored feasible (85) for its display and layout. Furthermore, the user response in the product trial phase was obtained very feasibly for its utility (123.97). Hence, it can be concluded that the learning module is suitable for use. © 2023 Author(s).
