Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching materials in the form of learning modules for the process of making bevel gears manufacturing for the needs of students at Yogyakarta State Vocational High School 3 and to find out the feasibility of the learning module for the bevel gear manufacturing process in milling machining lessons. This study refers to the research and development (R&D) method. Feasibility assessment carried out by 2 people matter expert, 1 media expert, and from user response on 30 students. The results of this study are to produce a learning module for the bevel manufacturing process that is worth using. Material of learning module includes definition, parts and use of milling machine, use and function of dividing head, as well as calculation and step steps in bevel gear manufacturing process. The results by material experts were 76.86% (good), the results by media experts were 87.69% (very good), and the user response results on 30 students were 82.98 % (very good). The average result of all aspect assessments is 82.45% (very good). © 2023 Author(s).
