This research aims to produce the right design for production equipment according to the needs of partners and improve the capabilities and skills of partners in designing production equipment. In addition, this research aims to increase the productivity of partners after having the ability and skill to design production equipment. The methods used are lectures, discussions, simulations, and hands-on practice, so that the material presented is easier for participants to understand. After completing the activity, an evaluation of the ability and understanding of partners is carried out as well as an evaluation of the activities that have been carried out. The results obtained are: (1) the right design of production equipment according to the needs of partners is simple construction, functional, easy to operate, ergonomic, and safe; (2) 90% of the participants understand the training material and are able to correctly apply the rules for designing production equipment; (3) increase in partner productivity after having the ability and skill to design production equipment, by 17%. © 2023 Author(s).
