Video-based mobile experiment activities for student creativity during the Covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

The laboratory has long been a special identity of science education, including physics. During the Covid 19 pandemic, various experimental and practical activities encountered various challenges. One solution that can be done is laboratory-based physics learning with mobile experiment activities. The purpose of this study was to see the effectiveness of Mobile Experiment Activities video analysis on students' creativity. This research was conducted in two universities in Lampung Province. Statistical analysis was used to test research based on n gain and MANOVA test. The results showed that video-based experiments were effective in increasing students' creativity. Therefore, mobile/laboratory experimental activities can be an alternative to physics learning activities, especially in the current era of distance learning. © 2023 Author(s).
