Abstract

Air quality is a critical factor affecting both human health and the environment, making clean air essential for human survival. Therefore, efforts to monitor and preserve air quality should be a top priority in public health initiatives. In response to this challenge, this study presents a system designed to address air pollution using a TGS2600 sensor integrated with the Internet of Things (IoT). The system employs ESP32 micro controller programming to efficiently detect concentrations of harmful gases, such as carbon monoxide. Real-time air quality data is accessible through the Blynk application, which provides automatic notifications to users when pollution levels increase. Testing results demonstrate the system's effectiveness in raising public awareness about air pollution, enabling rapid preventive actions to safeguard health and the environment. With its high accuracy in pollutant detection, this system offers an innovative solution for air quality management, addressing an increasingly urgent need in the modern era. © 2024 IEEE.
