Abstract

In the current study, gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) were prepared using an electrochemical synthesis method. The effect of electrolysis potential on the absorption value of gold nanoparticles and their stability time has been studied. The first step is to determine the maximum wavelength of synthesized AuNPs in the wavelength range of 300 to 800 nm and the maximum absorbance value was obtained. The electrolysis potential variations used in this study were 50, 53 and 55 Volts. The stability time of the synthesized gold nanoparticles was studied by observing the absorbance value on measurement days 1, 2, 3 to day 20. The results showed that the maximum wavelength of the synthesized AuNPs was 525nm with an absorbance value of 0,626 A. The maximum gold nanoparticles absorbance was obtained at the electrolysis potential of 55 Volts. The absorption of gold nanoparticles showed almost the same value at a wavelength of 526nm during the observation period of 20 days. © 2024 American Institute of Physics Inc.. All rights reserved.
