Abstract

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic is being felt in education, especially in learning mathematics. Online learning requires teachers and students to master ICT so that it can achieve effective learning objectives. However, using learning media with ICT that can support online learning is still not optimal. So that ICT-based mathematics learning media needs to be developed in such a way as to support student achievement and positive attitudes. This study aims to determine whether the mathematics learning media will be beneficial for students to study the material of geometric transformation. Following the ADDIE model during the development of learning media, 21 grade X students in Cirebon, Indonesia were involved in the Evaluation stage to measure practicality and effectiveness. For the validity aspect, two experts were invited to assess the developed media. The resulting Aiken index value was more than 0.8 in all aspects, it is in the high category, so the learning media is valid. The media contains material about geometric transformations, examples of practice questions, quizzes, and uses animation and guided questions to make it easier and fun for students to learn and understand the material and make meaningful learning for students so that students show a positive attitude and student achievement in mathematics can increase. © 2024 Author(s).
