Abstract

This study aims to produce an electronic-based physics worksheets with the STSE (science, technology, society, and environment) approach to improve scientific literacy of high school students on sound wave material and knowing whether there is a significant effect of using this product to improve scientific literacy skills. The research method used is R&D with a 4D model and one group pretest-posttest design. The research population was 34 high school students in class XI. Data collection instruments used were pretest-posttest assessment sheets for students and product assessment questionnaires for experts. Based on the research results a product with very high category is obtained based on validators. And for the average pretest score is 22.4. Meanwhile, the posttest average value is 72.23 and it is known that the N gain value is 0.63, which is in the category quite effective for improving scientific literacy skills. © 2024 Author(s).
