Abstract

The mathematical model of computer virus infection with new saturated incidence, vaccination and nonlinear treatments is a new issue addressed in this study. This paper deals with comprehending how the two treatments, vaccination in susceptible classes (antivirus installation) and treatment in infected classes (reinstall operation system), affect the spread of the virus on the network. The investigation of the basic reproduction number and the best treatment control showed that combined treatments produced the best performance. Some numerical examples support the suggested results. © 2024 the author(s).
