The increasing urgency of environmental sustainability highlights the importance of cultivating green entrepreneurial orientation (GEO) among young people. This study examines the relationships among green education (GE), green entrepreneurship practices (GEP), and GEO among junior high school students in a nature-based educational setting in Indonesia. Drawing on experiential learning and entrepreneurial orientation theories, the study tests an empirical model using a total population sample of 108 students. The findings show that GE positively influences GEO both directly and indirectly through GEP. In addition, GEP reinforce GE, revealing a recursive learning–practice dynamic. These results indicate that experiential GE and practice-based entrepreneurial activities play a formative role in shaping sustainability-oriented entrepreneurial orientations in early adolescence. The study extends green entrepreneurship research beyond intention-based models and university samples and offers practical implications for integrating sustainability and entrepreneurship in early education. © 2026 International Council for Small Business.
