With the development of the digital and information world, the demands for vocational students as generation Z are no longer only traditional skills but also particular skills needed in the industrial 4.0 era and the 21st Century. Digital literacy, especially the ability to search information and evaluate the relevance of knowledge, is a crucial skill for vocational high school students need to have to answer the challenges of the world of work. This study aims to examine the level of digital literacy of vocational high school students in Special Region of Yogyakarta on information retrieval ability and evaluate the relevance of information. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. Respondents consisted of 169 vocational high school students in Special Region of Yogyakarta. The sampling technique used is purposive random sampling. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics. The results of the research data analysis showed that the respondent's abilities for both components were in the "Good"category. Based on these results, it is concluded that the digital literacy skills of vocational high school students in DIY are in the aspect of finding information and evaluating the relevance of information in the "Good"category. © 2024 Author(s).
