Football is a popular community sport that provides numerous benefits, including the development of physical, mental, and social skills. In this context, the first touch technique is critical because it influences the player's ability to control the ball and determine the direction of the attack. However, many young players at the Tarogong Kidul club, particularly at SSB Anpal FC, are less effective at first touch due to a lack of use of modern training methods. The goal of this study is to determine the impact of the first touch training program on the fundamental techniques of the first touch, as well as the impact of the first touch training program on the player's competitive playing abilities. The method used in this study is quantitative (experimental), with a pre-experiment and one group pretest-posttest as the research design. The results showed that the first touch training program significantly improved players' technical skills and playing performance, with an average increase of 75.00 from pre-test to post-test (178.57). This training program is appropriate for improving the first touch techniques of players aged 10 to 13. © 2024 Federacion Espanola de Docentes de Educacion Fisica. All rights reserved.
