Information and Communication Technology (ICT) transformation enables Education Management Information System (EMIS) to collect, store, process, and share digital information effectively and efficiently. It soon plays a critical role in education administration. However, this study provides a Systematic Literature Review of the use of EMIS with advanced ICT in school administration and a suggestion for further research or development. Twenty-three relevant articles were found and showed three research focuses: 1) the use of EMIS in school administration, 2) models and ideas for EMIS development, and 3) acceptance or attitude toward EMIS. However, there was no articles providing new models or ideas about mobile-application based EMIS that it can be an opportunity for further research or development. © 2024 American Institute of Physics Inc..
