Abstract

This paper establishes fixed point theorems for generalized Kannan-type mappings in modular b-metric spaces by using subadditive altering distance functions. The fixed point theorems presented in this paper extend the existing results for generalized Kannan-type mappings in b-metric spaces by adding the △2-type condition into the modular b-metric space framework. © 2026, Universiti Putra Malaysia.
