Abstract

The health of pregnant women is essential because it affects the health of the child who will be born. This research analyzes the clustering outcomes of the health profiles of pregnant women in Gunungkidul Regency in 2021 – 2023 using the fuzzy c-means algorithm. It interprets the mapping of the health situation of pregnant women based on the clustering results. This research maps the health level of pregnant women in Gunungkidul Regency in 2021 – 2023. The variables used are: pregnant women who received the maternal and child health book, 6th antenatal care visits, tetanus toxoid immunization, Vitamin A supplementation in postpartum women, and pregnant women who attended antenatal classes. The method used is fuzzy c-means clustering and optimal cluster selection using the Calinski–Harabasz index, Davies-Bouldin index, and Silhouette coefficient. The results of the mapping are health maps of pregnant women in Gunungkidul at each health center. The results of this research show that there are four optimal clusters. Cluster 1 shows health centers with better health outcomes for pregnant women than the other clusters. Cluster 2 shows health centers where pregnant women's participation in tetanus toxoid immunization remains low. Cluster 3 shows that the 6th antenatal care visits are still low. Cluster 4 shows health centers with low involvement in antenatal classes. The results of analysis and mapping the health of pregnant women can improve the implementation of government strategies, making them more effective in terms of time and cost. © (2025), (Insight Society).
