LiCrxMn2-x04(x= 0; 0.02; 0.04; 0.06; 0.08; 0.1) was successfully synthesized using a simple reflux-microwave irradiation technique and the resulting products were evaluated based on their microstructure and Cr/Mn mol ratio. XRD with the U-Fit package program and SEM-EDX were used to characterize the structure of LiCrxMn2-x04. Doping with Cr was found to alter the size, crystallinity and microstructure of LiCrxMm-xCU. The solid compounds exhibit a cubic crystal structure in the Fd-3m space group. A decreasing mole ratio affects the lattice parameters of the structure, and the solids' crystallinity tends to increase as the chromium content decreases. However, decreasing the Cr content impacts the unit cells, lattice parameters, and increases the volume size, ranging from 540 A3 to 565 A3. SEM images indicate that the samples have a homogenous distribution and are not significantly different. © 2025 American Institute of Physics Inc.. All rights reserved.
