Abstract

The background of the problem is related to the unavailability of learning media that relates to technological developments in learning. Seeing this problem, it is necessary to develop interactive multimedia based on Android to attract students to utilise mobile as a learning support to improve learning outcomes. This study aimed to develop interactive multimedia based on students' learning outcomes from Android-based learning. The type of research employed is development (Research and Development), utilizing the 4D research method. The research subjects were 36 students at SDN Cibenda, Indonesia. Data collection techniques included written tests, questionnaires, and observations. The results showed that the overall feasibility of interactive multimedia designed for Android received valid criteria, and the effectiveness of interactive multimedia on Android contributed to improving learning outcomes, as evidenced by test data showing a classical completeness rate of 94%, the N-Gain score was 0.69 with a moderate category. These findings highlight the great potential of mobile learning platforms in basic education, with technology which can provide an effective learning experience, improve skills, and encourage student engagement. This study emphasises the importance of integrating Android-based platforms to optimise the student learning process, where educators can utilize these features to enhance learning outcomes and boost student motivation in diverse educational settings. A dynamic and effective learning environment can be created through continuous evolution and improvement in the integration of Android-based learning systems, focusing on the learning process and cutting-edge technology. © 2026 Nur Trianingsih et al.; published by UIKTEN.
