Abstract

In an era marked by growing environmental concerns, this paper presents a pioneering integration of technology and nature, seamlessly blending TensorFlow-based flower recognition with a GPT-powered chatbot. Our aim is to raise awareness and inspire engagement in sustainable green development initiatives. The flower recognition component employs cutting-edge deep learning techniques to swiftly identify and deliver comprehensive insights about various plant species, connecting individuals with the natural world. Simultaneously, the GPT-based chatbot facilitates engaging and personalized conversations, offering tailored information and promoting eco-conscious actions. The study results confirm the system's effectiveness. The flower recognition model achieved a 77.99% accuracy rate, accompanied by high precision and recall scores. The chatbot maintained an average response time of 2.96 seconds and provided accurate answers at a rate of approximately 50.47%. The integration of these components into our web application created a user-centric platform for flower enthusiasts and researchers. Users could seamlessly transition between functions, from identifying flowers to seeking detailed information or interacting with the AI-enhanced Chatbot. User feedback, measured through the System Usability Scale (SUS) and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) questionnaire, indicated high usability and acceptance levels. Users found the system user-friendly and effective in enhancing their understanding of plant species and ecological awareness. Perceived usefulness was high, and perceived ease of use was positive, suggesting that the Integrated Flower Recognition System effectively enhances users' ecological awareness, fostering eco-conscious behaviors, and supporting green initiatives. © 2025 American Institute of Physics Inc..
